Let’s understand that failing to pay your vehicle registration should not result in you being branded a ‘criminal’ for, at best, an act of neglegence. It’s no worse than neglecting to pay your water or phone bill.

In this day and age of computers where you can pay your registration on-line, and have that information available to all branches of local government within hours or days, why would you even have to appear in court at all once the matter is satisfied? If anything maybe you would be assessed a small fine; instead the licensed thieves stopped short of streamlining the system to ensure themselves the greatest depth into your pockets.

I personally vote Baltimore City government one of the most corrupt and thieving institutions, even besting England during its pre-colonial days when it actively criminalized its population to rip them off.
